Hi - I'm used to having the credit card limit somewhere in the account, so I can keep track of the various amounts and budget.
How can I get that function in Moneydance?
Thanks,
Valerie

    Hi Valerie,

Some Financial Institutions provide "Available Balance" information when you click on the account and then click on "Balance" at the bottom right corner of the account page. Others do not provide the available balance, It depends on the bank(s). For my accounts; I know that Citi and Capital One do provide the available balance info, whereas Amex and Discover do not.

    Hi Valerie,

First set the credit limit on your card if you haven’t done so already. Under Account > Edit.

Next you need to download a free Money Dance Program Extension called “Dept Insites”. Under “Extensions >Manage Extension”

Now you will have all the info you need. You can have the details displayed on your Summary Page, or double clicking the extension gives you a nice neat box with all the details.

Thanks Jeff. I didn’t know about the extensions. Very helpful!
