I have 2 different budgets. One for our main income and one for special projects and big bills like tuition. Can I assign budget categories specific to each budget? It seems like all the budget categories show up for both budgets. I am used to Quicken and having trouble getting a good report to really see how I am spending is compared to my budget. Thank you for any advice and help you can give me.

    Hi Carla

You might want to have a look at my budget report extension (https://bitbucket.org/mikerb/moneydance-2015/wiki/Extensions)

It allows you to set up reports with selected categories.

Also the budget generator extension allows you to construct budgets using different categories

Surely, the programme needs a saving goals feature. I have requested this today!
