I’m afraid that your request for assistance was missed by the support team. The forum help.infinitekind.com is still being set up as a future replacement for our current support system, so we haven't been monitoring it all that closely but we are working hard to improve this aspect.
I must apologise again for the poor level of service and lack of support you have received. I’d like to provide assistance if you’re still in a position to work through these issues. Please be assured we are putting a system in place to ensure a higher level of service and speedier responses.

I am able now to show what I mean:
At the top edge of the main panel, I find these bars, pertaining to budget. Unlike the detailed summary bars at the right edge, these are at the top. I chose for them to show the current year budget, and I understand the green and red, but I never could see what the orange bar is telling me.

I enclose a clip of the screen.

thanks
But the meaning of the orange dashed bar is not explained. SO this is my question:
- what is the dashed orange bar telling in this graph?

Best I can tell from using the budget feature is that the striped orange line indicates an issue with your budget. On the expense side, the striped orange line shows you are over your budget for the period selected. on the income side, the striped orange section shows you have not received the income expected for the budget period.

mhoggietag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/500107722022-03-19T17:49:16Z2022-03-19T17:49:16ZSummary bars

Thanks mhoggie, sounds like something that should definitely be in the help guide then.

stevetag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/500107722022-03-30T11:06:07Z2022-04-04T11:51:58ZSummary bars

@All

Here’s the description for the orange checked line.

The striped orange line is a "warning" indicating a change within the budget . If it appears on the expense side, the striped orange line shows one is over their budget for the period selected.
If it appears on the income side, the striped orange section shows one has not received the income expected for the budgeted period.

steve
