Thanks for your response to my query. I have no problems getting
to
stage of having a new budget calculated using my 'last years'
actual
income and expenses transferred into this year's budget, but my
problem
lies in getting to the editing stage of the raw figures. It always
seems
to take me ages to find the correct steps to get to the editing
screen.
Any suggestions?

Thanks, Vik.

Viktor Sheludkotag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/404301742016-08-10T19:12:31Z2016-08-10T19:12:31ZAnnual creation of a budget

I just change each one manually to allow for the monthly
fluctuations .I've only been using MD for a few weeks but it seems
to work.

johnmdeartag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/404301742016-08-11T00:01:43Z2016-08-11T00:01:43ZAnnual creation of a budget

The new-style budget only works for what MD considers
expenses.

You can't budget for items like a mortgage, savings or car
payments, student loans. At the end of the month it looks like you
have a lot of $money left over on your budget since you record all
income, just not all the output.

The old-style budget assumes you budget the same amount each
month for everything. My cost for natural gas, electric, fuel,
groceries and other categories vary each month.

Too bad, this would be a great product otherwise.

mjsven
