Hi Wrenn,
You can view a list of our supported financial institutions here - http://infinitekind.com/fi
It appears 'PNC Bank - Direct Connect' are on the list, and therefore they support direct OFX connections.
You can get up online banking within Online --> Set Up Online Banking. Then select 'New Connection' and choose your financial institution from the list.
Application-based online banking often requires a different login/PIN than the ones that are used for ATM or web-based banking. When you enable your account for access from Moneydance or Quicken, your financial institution should let you know what customer ID/login and PIN to use.
If you haven't already, I encourage you to download our free trial version and experiment with the program before you decide if you would like to purchase it. The demo version is fully functional and allows you to manually enter 100 transactions. Imported transactions are not limited, so you'll be able to fully test connections with your bank.
If you decide to purchase the program at a later date you can keep all your data, the license key simply unlocks the ability to manually enter more transactions. You can download the trial version of Moneydance from here - http://infinitekind.com/downloads
I hope this information is helpful, please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
