<p>This is a bug that is only affecting users who have previously
tried to set up a connection with TD Bank Online Banking. We should
have a fix out very soon.</p>
<p>Thanks for your patience,</p>

<p>If you have not previously attempted to connect to TD Bank
Online Banking, then downloading the most recent preview version
(641) of Moneydance does solve the untrusted server certificate
chain error.</p>

I tried downloading the most recent version and it didn't fix the
problem. I think I tried to connect to TD bank first by accident.
Can you let me know when this is fixed?<br>

<p>After downloading 641 did you try setting up TD Banknorth from
the "new connections" list? The only bug that still exists is that
if you have previously tried to use TD Bank Online Banking, then
when you try to set up TD Banknorth it will revert to TD Bank
Online Banking. When you say that it didn't fix the problem, do you
mean that that is what occurred, or do you mean that you
experienced the same certificate error as previously?</p>

I reinstalled it and I set up a new connection using TD Banknorth.
That is when I got the error message.<br>

<p>Are you experiencing the issue that when you try to connect to
TD Banknorth the connection reverts to TD Online Bank or are you
still receiving the error message about the bad certificate?</p>

It is not reverting back to TD Online Bank. The error message is
just popping up.<br>

<p>If you are still getting the bad certificate error, it seems
unlikely you are running version 641. Can you check in the
Moneydance menu (to the left of the file menu) and look under
"about Moneydance" to see which version you are running?</p>

using Moneydance and connecting to TD banknorth fine, but when I
tried to day, I received the following error:</p>
<p>There was an error communicating with your financial
institution. The details of this error are below.</p>
<p>A communication or parsing error occurred. This could be the
result of a network problem, a proxy error, or misconfigured

<p>I downloaded version 641, and still no dice. Any thoughts?</p>

banks they purchased, which is part of what's causing the ongoing
connection problems. This has exposed a bug in Moneydance, which
we're working on fixing for Moneydance 2010. The problem should
resolve itself when TD finishes their upgrades on 9/28.
Unfortunately, there's no workaround to get things working in the
meantime. See <a href=

this thread</a> for more details.</p>
<p>Sorry for the inconvenience everybody. It should be working
again by the end of the month.</p>
