Bank updated online system, moneydance no longer works
Hello! Our local bank in Kansas City, Capitol Federal, recently updated their online banking. After their update, moneydance is no longer able to retrieve transactions. This was a VERY recent update, but I was hoping to put the word out to see if this could be slated for a tweak in moneydance

Hi Dan,
Are you trying to connect with Capitol Federal Savings?
Moneydance only supports automatic downloads via Direct Connect and unfortunately your bank have stopped supporting this service with their latest update. Sorry I don't have better news. This bank have advised -
"Web Connect and Express Web Connect will continue to be supported for Quicken®. Direct Connect will no longer be supported."
Moneydance does not support the other connection methods - Web Connect or Express Web Connect. This is for your security, and you can read more about why we only support Direct Connect in our blog and also in this article.
By only using Direct Connect, we can guarantee that your username, password and financial data only ever exists with your bank or on your own personal computer, and at no point are your details stored on another server.
Without Direct Connect, the best way to get your transactions into Moneydance is to use a web browser to download files from your bank's web site. You can download into QFX, OFX, OFC or QIF files (aka Quicken or MS Money files), any of which will import cleanly into Moneydance. You can find the steps for manually importing your data in this article.
You can also open your banks website directly from Moneydance by selecting Online --> Open Account Website, which makes the download process easier.

Jenny,
I was cleaning out my email box and realized i never said "thank you";
Not was I was hoping to hear, but much better than beating my head on
the desk because it didn't work :) I'm looking at other local banks now!
Thanks again!
