Institution doesn't support OFX Connections?
I'm trying to manually configure Moneydance to connect to my credit union. I sent them an email asking for the OFX information. This is the response I got:
After forwarding your information onto our Online Services Manager, I was made aware that at this time BCU does not currently support OFX connections. We do, however, support the use of Express Web Connect, which is correlated with Quicken. We do apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, but Quicken would be fully compatible with the BCU website.
I thought Quicken used OFX. If they support Quicken, shouldn't
they also support Moneydance?

Hi Alan,
Quicken supports downloading information from banks in two ways: Direct OFX connections and what they call "Web Connect" which is basically just opening up a link to your bank's website so that you can log in and download OFX files. Moneydance requires support for Direct connections, which it sounds like your bank doesn't offer. However, you can still download OFX files and import them into Moneydance.
Please let me know if you have any further problems or questions.
