Synchrony Financial QFX downloads debits as credits.
Synchrony financial credit card account downloads appear to be coded incorrectly? I will attach a sample file, but every qfx file I download, regardless of account imports charges as payments. The transactions are coded as "<TRNAMT>-nnn.nn" for a charge, but then "<TRNTYPE>CREDIT". So, they are coding charges as "-" (negative) CREDITs.
I have contacted Synchrony, but they will not take any responsibility for their files being incorrectly formatted. They say they have had no complaints from Quicken users.

I think there is an option in preferences, network, to override the bank's sign...?
(not support, just a fellow user)

Thanks, that appears to have worked. Never saw that before. The option, for others reference, is >File >Preferences >Network (tab):
Checkbox for "Ignore Transaction Types in Favor of Amount Signs"
I just hope it won't mess with all my other accounts that are importing correctly...
