UK Banks
Hi All, are UK Banks supported by this software? If so do I then just make a request for a particular Bank?
Thank you.

Yes/No...
NO - You cannot use Direct Connection.
NO - You cannot use MD+
Hence, No, you cannot auto download.
But, YES, if your bank provides manual QIF/OFX file downloads, then YES, you can import them into MD sucessfully.

Thank you Stuart, I'll check with my bank and see what they offer as
download files.
Best wishes

Most banks when you logon to internet banking and are viewing the account transactions will have options there to download or export data, they are usually fairly prominently displayed, often with a button to click on.

This is a frustrating limitation that I've been looking at whilst deciding which bank to open an account with. It seems such a limitation of this and other software.
It is particularly an issue with UK Credit Card statements, and I've never got the csv import in Moneydance to work efficiently.
According to FreeAgent :-
The UK banks that support OFX or QIF formats are:
Alliance and Leicester (OFX and QIF)
American Express (OFX and QIF)
Barclays (OFX)
Cater Allen Private Bank (OFX)
Coutts & Co (OFX and QIF)
First Direct (QIF)
Halifax (OFX and QIF)
Lloyds (QIF)
NatWest (OFX)
Nationwide (OFX - full statement)
Royal Bank of Scotland (OFX and QIF)
Santander (QIF)
Tesco (OFX and QIF)

AMEX has OFX and import works well!

Thanks. I wouldn't have an Amex card because it is not widely accepted in
the UK - due to the extremely high rate it charges retailers.
