New Account Not listed OFX
Bank of America is not listed on your extensive list of compatible banks. Is this an oversight? I am considering changing accounts from Wells Fargo to BOA, but need your assurance the new account will still be fully compatible. Thanks.

Hi,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.
Unfortunately, Bank of America has discontinued their use of OFX Direct Connect in 2022. This service is required to download your transactions automatically into Moneydance for free.
Without Direct Connect, you can still easily import your data into the program for free. You can use a web browser to download files from your bank's website. We recommend you download using the OFX, QFX or QIF file format, which you can import into Moneydance using File > Import. The steps for manually importing your data are outlined in this article.
Alternatively, you can subscribe to Moneydance+. This is an optional subscription service that allows you to download transactions from your banks using the Plaid aggregator.
You can read more about Moneydance+ in this blog post and in this section of the knowledge base.
There is a 30-day free trial so you can fully test downloading from Bank of America before you're charged.
If you own a Moneydance 2024 license key and you have registered the program, the cost to use Moneydance+ is $4/monthly or $40/yearly. The steps for setting up this service are outlined in this section of the knowledge base.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

Maddy: Thank you for response. Could you tell me if Capital One 360 supports Direct Connect? I checked your bank listing, but there may be more than one "Capital One".

If I recall correctly Capital One removed their support for Direct Connect quite some years ago.

I can see you’ve received a reply from one of our knowledgeable Moneydance customers, and it appears you’ve been given the information you need.
Side note: Capital One support Moneydance +.
