Standard chartered Bank - Bahrain
I have just found out that my bank in Bahrain has an open banking service which i think provides an api to allow apps like moneydance to sync balances and transactions.

If this was possible, would your team be able to update your app to sync with the SCB open banking API?

Hi Declan,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.
Currently, Moneydance supports automatic downloads using Direct Connect (mainly in the US) or Moneydance + (US and Canada).
Unfortunately Standard chartered Bank - Bahrain do not support these services.
Without Direct Connect and Moneydance +, you are still able to easily import your data into the program using the OFX or QFX file format, if either of these are available from your bank's website. If not, you can use the QIF file format.Please find the steps for manually importing your data in this article.
