Hi Paul.

You haven’t actually explained what the problem is?

Is it you have initially installed Moneydance on your windows 10 computer in a admin account. You have since uninstalled it and reinstalled it in another user account, but you can’t open the original data set you created in the admin account.
If this is the problem, you need to move your data set folder PLF Finances.moneydance and all its contents to the same location in your user account from your admin account.

If this is not the issue explain further.

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/486063612020-09-05T18:51:38Z2022-03-23T18:19:38ZMove Moneydance to new win 10 Machine

Okay, thanks for the quick response. I got it. It's now working on the
standard account. I missed it on the initialization dialog box when you
first open Moneydance. I then went to the admin acct. and deleted PLF
Finances.moneydanc.

If I uninstall Moneydance from the admin Acct., now will it affect the Standard Acct.?

Thanks so much; Paul

bigbear15tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/486063612020-09-05T19:11:24Z2020-09-05T19:12:45ZMove Moneydance to new win 10 Machine

I am not support staff, just a user.
Hi Paul.

Even if you uninstall all instances of Moneydance in all accounts it does not delete you data set, it is completely separate.

Hope this helps.

derekkent23
