The "ee" is most likely being picked up from a relatively recent transaction. The list not only picks up pre-defined values but by default entries from recently entered transactions. I put together a quick guide on how this list now works

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/488228642020-11-12T01:49:17Z2020-11-12T11:59:49ZEditing items in dropdown list under "Check #".

Thank you dwg. Helpful information. I still couldn't find the item to delete so I did an Advance Search and entered the item in the check search area and found an entry a year ago. I then edited that entry by replacing ee with EFT (which is what it was supposed to be) and that did the trick. "ee" no longer shows up in the dropdown.

Your information gave me another way to look at the issue. Thanks!

nostampneededtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/488228642020-11-12T01:53:50Z2020-11-12T11:59:49ZEditing items in dropdown list under "Check #".

Your welcome.

Thanks for the feedback, I will extend the note and expand on the usage of recent entries.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/488228642020-11-12T06:01:45Z2020-11-12T11:59:49ZEditing items in dropdown list under "Check #".

I seem to recall that there might be a new edit option in tools/accounts/select account? Take a peek. I’m not 100% on this and I’m sure someone will jump in if wrong.

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/488228642020-11-12T19:50:16Z2020-11-12T19:50:16ZEditing items in dropdown list under "Check #".

Stuart,

That is another path you can take to getting the the overall options for an account, it is the same as having the account register open and choosing the menu option Account --> Edit Account.

With many of the options there are multiple ways of getting to the same end point.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/488228642020-11-12T19:54:56Z2020-11-12T19:54:56ZEditing items in dropdown list under "Check #".

👍

Stuart Beesley (Mr Toolbox)
