Hello all, wondering if there's a good reason to upgrade from 2019.2 to newer version 2020? Any thoughts? Currently running mojave 10.14.6 on my MacBook pro.
Thanks!

    I'm a fellow user.

I think you will largely get opinion based answers on this particular upgrade rather than any great technical merits or major changes.

If you are licensed for Moneydance 2019 then 2020 is a free upgrade, from a licensing perspective it is seen as an extension to the 2019 release, so there is no cost implication.

From a technical perspective the biggest change is to move to a different Java build/supplier and the reintroduction of Windows 32 bit support.

These changes make using a new version number logical, without these Moneydance 2020 is 2019 will more fixes, subtle improvements etc.

That is my take on it.

I use 2020(1929) and have been very satisfied with it.

2021 has been released, but for some it will be a paid upgrade, and although released as the current product, is actively being worked upon.
