Latest Version
I downloaded the latest 64bit version of Moneydance, and installed it on my system. In "help > Moneydance," the version displays as "2021" (2006). It also displays "unregistered." Is this 2021 version a free upgrade for existing users, or do I need to purchase the upgrade?
Thanks,
Kirk Matheson (USA)

I am not support staff, just a user.
Hi Kirt
2021 will only be a free upgrade to users who purchased a 2019/2020 key not to users who purchased a 2017 or earlier key. An upgrade for these uses is at a 50% discount.
If you have the Extension “Moneydance updater” installed, the latest build (check Extension Manager) and you get an update message it should include the line “This upgrade is non-free but is available at a discount” or “This Upgrade is a free upgrade to you”, dependant on the key already installed.
If you have installed Moneydance 2021:
If you are an existing user whose key was for 2017 or earlier and thus is not valid for 2021 click UPGRADE to purchase a new key at a 50% discount.
If you are a new user that does not have a key click PURCHASE.
If you are an existing user whose key is valid for 2021 just carry on.
Hope this helps
