is not intended for managing small business accounts. Although many
people do use it for managing their business one of the features
moneydance does not have is the ability to make transfers directly
to the equity balance. However you can work around this because
Mooneydance lets you specify an initial balance for a new account.
This allows you to bring money into or out of the system without
using an income or expense account. For example to create an
advanced capital you can create a new asset account called "Advance
capital 2009" and set the initial balance on the account to the
amount being advanced. Then in the checking register you can make a
deposit selecting "Advance capital 2009" as the category.

I am sorry if this does not meet your needs.

Sincerely
