I have been using MoneyDance on my MacOS computer for several years and I find it to be a very useful and easy-to-use tool for managing my finances. Is there a web-based version of MoneyDance? It would be nice to be able to access my dance from more than on machine.

    Hi Bruce,

I'm not from IK Support, but you can sync across multiple computers/mobile devices by following the Knowledge Base Article:

I am not support staff, just a user.
    Hi Bruce

Moneydance deliberately do not offer a web based version as any such product is less secure than having the program on your hard drive.

However, Moneydance since the 2017 version has an internal syncing engine. You can sync between an unlimited number of computers with any mix of operating systems, Windows, Mac or Linux. The sync engine works in conjunction with a cloud server your data being end to end encrypted the key only being held on your devices. I have tested Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, Box.com and pCloud free accounts and they all work. You can also add to the set up mobile devices such as phones, but if you do you must use Dropbox, as I do. All this on your single licence key.

Add a transaction on one device and it will appear on your other devices usually within 60 seconds.

    Hope this helps
