Hello!

I hope everyone in your life is healthy and safe.

Question: If I purchase MoneyDance from the App Store, can I still install it onto my Linux & Windows systems? Or do I have to purchase a license for each OS?

Why: I use all three OS's and I trade off from one to the other for a couple of months at a time. Right now, I'm using an older version on my MacBook Pro but in the coming weeks, I am moving to Arch Linux for a couple of months to keep my skills up.

How's all of that work out?

Thanks!

    I'm a fellow user.

If you purhcase from the Apple store then it is just the Mac version you get with an embedded license which cannot be used elsewhere.

If you purchase the software directly you get a license key which can be used on any operating system, you will only need one license to use all of your systems.

It really is no contest purchase the software directly.

By doing a direct purchase you also will not be limited by Apple's restrictions, you get a free upgrade to the next major release, plus upgrades beyond that are at a 50% discount, you can also use preview releases.
