Updatiing to latest version
Hi,
I currently use Moneydance 2007, on a 2012 MacBook Pro. I am thinking of getting a new MacBook Pro (with the Apple M1 processor) and have been checking what apps will work on the new platform, under Rosetta 2. Moneydance 2007 is 32 bit so will not work. If I update to the latest version, will I need to buy a new registration code or will my old one translate to the updated software.
Regards
Bryan Harris

I'm a fellow user.
For macOS Monterey you will need the latest version of Moneydance for compatibility.
For a Moneydance 2017 user you will need to purchase an upgrade, you can get a 50% discount by using the upgrade field on:

The above post is correct. You will need to purchase an upgrade to the 2022 version to run Moneydance on Monterey (which your new computer will almost certainly come with). Moneydance will run under Rosetta.
