Hi Teresa,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.
You can attach a file to a transaction by dragging the image file onto a transaction in the Moneydance program window, as outlined in this article of the Knowledge base.

If you mean something like Accounts Payable, I use the Transaction Reminder feature.
As the bills come in, I adjust the amount in the reminder and the Due Date, if necessary.
For the one-off bills, don'talter the repeat function.

There have been some guesses made as to what you want to do, perhaps it would be better if you explain in more detail what you are trying to achieve as what you have said is rather general.
