Date a transaction was entered into the register
the "DATE" column can be any date of my choosing (03/02/2031) but a "SHOW TRANSACTION DETAILS" gives this info. how does one decipher the date entered? I entered this today 06/28/2022.

MD stores an Unix epoch date. You can research it on Google or convert it by plugging it here
https://www.epochconverter.com/ amongst other places.

PS - How sure are you that you entered this transaction on Jun 28? It appears to have been entered in early April and updated a few days later?

Toolbox extension, general tools, has an option to decide dates. Just enter ‘ 1649248977279’ for example and it will tell you the human readable version.

Why not have MD convert the date and also display that info when requested?
Also have an option to add the date entered column to a register display.
Enhancement/user option for display on/off

Ill look at this next chance I get.
But why not have MD convert it without the extra steps?

just a user
Transaction details are just that - details of what was actually recorded. Once you begin changing that set of detail entry, you make it harder to see what was actually entered into the database.
I think what you might be asking for is to expose the "transaction entry date" (converted into a normal date).

Ok expose the date as something more useful.
Thanks
