Migrating data from Version 2021 to current version

My version of Moneydance is starting to crash, so I looked at the version and realized that my version is very old. I would like to upgrade to the newest version of Moneydance but I want to make sure I can transfer my current data into the new version.

Is this easy to do? Is there a guide or something that will tell me how to upgrade?

Thank you,

There is no fundamental requirement for data conversion between Moneydance 2021 and 2024 so it is expected that Moneydance will just read the data.

On the same computer you would just take a backup of the data, for safety sake, and perform a data in place upgrade overwriting your old version of Moneydance with the new.

2021 data is directly moveable to 2024.

Basically upgrade to 2024 at a heavily discounted price, (put in your license key before you upgrade to get it) https://infinitekind.com/update and start using it (assuming most things are in their default places)
