To print a register how it looks exactly on screen use the Menu command, File -> Print Transactions.

To print a set of selected transactions use the Transactions or Transaction Filter report, depending on what you actually want the report to show.

When i try to print a register or a transaction register, I get a date column, a check number column, the payment and deposit columns (extra large) and the balance column (extremely large). The description and memo columns are missing. I cant find any way to adjust what is showing in my printouts. If the last three columns weren't so large, the other two could fit in. Sometimes the date column appears garbled like it is trying to add in another column, but i cant figure out what it is showing.
The preferences and the print transaction buttons don't give me any adjustments,

The "Print Transaction" option in the menu is a very simple function it is really just doing a screen dump of the register. So what you basically see on the screen has to fit on the width of a sheet of paper.

The only way to do this is by making your Moneydance window narrow, adjusting the column widths to suit etc.

If you want some more control, including the ability to use different fonts and sizes then using one of the two reports I mentioned earlier and adjusting your printing font in preferences would be the way to go.
