I just updated to the new edition of moneydance on a new Macbook Air. Transferred all my old data to the new program. Everything seemed to be working. I could see all my old data. However, today, when I loaded up Moneydance, the program with my data does not load. Instead, I get a screen that says welcome to moneydance, and gives the option of create a new account, import new account set, migrate from Quickens Essential, and get help using Moneydance. I had to reimport all my old data again, and I could see it all in moneydance again. . So the new Moneydance program does not seem to be saving my information when if closes down. It will not be much use if it can remember new data entered. The program was already setup to save a backup once a day. How can I get moneydance to save information, so after closing and restarting, it can see the saved information. I suspect I am missing something obvious, but I can not figure it out

Maybe your new computer transfer moved the data to the wrong place versus what Moneydance expected to see?

The problem has seemed to resolve itself. Not sure why, since i did not change any settings. But I can close the program and reopen it, and still my data is still in the program.
