Microsoft Money convertion
Hello,
I have a file from Money 99. It is a "mn5" file. I would like to convert the "mn5" file to an "mny" file that can be opened in Money Sunset Deluxe. Does your software Money Dance do this? If it does, I intend to purchase it.
Thank you
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
Microsoft Money files are proprietary.
You'll need to export your MS Money data to the QIF file format and then import it into Moneydance.
This can be less than trivial (but doable) if your MS Money data if complex.
Look to the following Moneydance KB article for more information.

You seem to be asking is Moneydance can convert a file used in an older version of Microsoft Money into a file compatible with the last version of Microsoft Money.
This type of conversion is probably a question for a Microsoft Money Forum. Moneydance is not file conversion software.
