Hello

  I need to change the base name for the account in moneydance.
But have to keep the data.
How do i accomplish that?

   my answer from your service came back for "base currency"

   my question is for "base account name"
   I need to change it from a long computerized name. To something more like
   "My 2024 file"
   How do i do that!

   Hi Mike,
   Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.

   In order to re-name your data file, you can follow the steps in this article of the Knowledge base.

   It's important you close the Moneydance program fully before you make any changes.

   Then rename the data file. You should retain the .moneydance file extension at the end of the file name.
