I want to create an almost identical transaction Reminder to one I already have.
I can right-click an existing reminder and select a Copy option, but I can't see anyway to then Paste it.
How is that done? I've tried everything obvious (I think!!).

Go to one of the transactions the reminders has created in the register, right click and select to create reminder from the transaction.

These are future transactions that haven't occurred yet. At the moment I take a screen shot of the reminder with all its details, then manually create a new one with all the details except for a different account. You can't display an existing Reminder at the same time as creating a new one.
The question is... how can use paste the Reminder I've copied into a new one? Perhaps I should ask what the Copy Reminder function is for?

It seems that just copies the name, not the reminder, what it is for I have no idea.

It’s a general copy text to clipboard thing which is most useful on values and when in reports

OK. Thanks. It's not useful within Reminders.
Perhaps I should then be making a request for a "Duplicate" option within Reminders. It's quite tedious setting them up when there's lots of similar ones. You can't even copy and paste fields as Reminders don't allow you to have two Reminders open at the same time to copy and paste.

That would be an excellent addition and I think quite easy to do.
    +1

Thanks for the feedback. I've created a new discussion in the Suggestions Forum about this. I presume the developers look there for ideas?
