What is ARM?

    In the context of computer processors, ARM stands for Advanced RISC Machine.

    Hi David,

    ARM refers to a computer processor.
    Do you know if your computer uses an Intel or an ARM processor?
    If you're not sure, it's most likely Intel.

    To check, open your computer's Control Panel and select System and Security > System. Your computer's CPU model is displayed to the right of "Processor" under the System heading.
