Brand new to Moneydance
I entered 2 checking accounts as new files but can only find the last entered. Search says account is found for the one i cant find or open. im sure ut is simple!!!!!

It probably is simple but we cannot be sure what you have done. So I am taking an educated guess here.
If you did a Moneydance File => New command each time it means you have created a whole new data file each time so have two Files which you alternate using with the File => Open command.
If you meant to have two accounts in the one file you use the Moneydance command Account => New to add subsequent accounts.
