8.10). It does not happen on Windows XP (use it at work) or on Mac
OS X 10.5.7 (Other home computer).</p>
<p>When I click the triangle at the top or bottom of the scroll
bar, it doesn't just scroll one or two lines, it scrolls the entire
register. On my checking accounts this is a long way and there
seems to be no way to interrupt the process. Also, when clicking
inside the scroll bar, sometimes it only goes up or down one page,
but most of the time it scrolls all the way to the point in the
scroll bar where I clicked. Again, this can be quite time
consuming.</p></div>danfontenottag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/1723512009-05-21T15:17:09Z2009-05-21T15:17:09ZScroll Too Much<div><p>Hi Dan</p>
<p>I am running Moneydance 2008r3 (build 631) on ubuntu 9.04 and am
not experiencing the problem you describe. Clicking on the arrow of
the vertical scroll bar moves the transaction register up or down
by one transaction. What version of Java are you using (type java
-version at the shell to find this out)? I am running the latest
java from sun, version 1.6.0_13, and have been very happy with it.
If you want to install it from Synaptic the the package name is
"sun-java6-jre".</p>
<p>Sincerely</p>

the problem went away.</p>
<p>Thanks again,<br>
