First reconciliation
I recently switched from Quicken to Moneydance (thank you!).
I adjusted the initial balance but now when I do my first reconciliation, the beginning balance is WAY off.
How can I change the beginning balance to match my bank statement?

The beginning balance is not changeable directly. The software is actually calculating it. If it is wrong it is a pointer to something not being correct in the account, to override it would be to hide this.
At the bottom of the reconciliation Knowledge Base article it talks about this problem and the potential causes.
