I am using Moneydance 2024.4 (5253) on an M2 MacBook Air with 26.0.1. It is working flawlessly.

And as a long-time user, I am disappointed by IK's lack of basic information on current version compatibility with major OS upgrades. Fortunately, there is an amazing community of very adept users to rely on.
While I appreciate IK's lack of hype and marketing jargon, the lack of ongoing communication with users is a bummer.

Thanks Jonathan, that’s really helpful to know.

@Jonathan
When you navigate to the download page here the system requirements are indicated below the name of each operating system .
For example: Window -> any 64 bit Inter or Arm
MacOs-> macOS 12+
Linux->any
Also, you can get directly to the download files (and all of the Linux installers) for our stable releases here
Additionally, you can find the download links for previous versions and a clear indication of the system requirements in this page.
I hope this information is helpful. Please let us know if you have further questions or need more assistance.

Sure. But knowing the minimum required OS version does not tell a user that a brand-new major OS upgrade will still work, especially if they know no upgrades have been issued in well over 6 months. It's about basic customer communication. That is not something, from my perspective, Infinite Kind takes on. For example, the last blog post is from over 8 months ago.

Maddy,
What Jonathan is saying is that he would like to see TiK test every new version of an O/S and publish the results of the testing in a prominent place.

Des, what I am saying is that as a user, to have no communication from a software developer since a blog post in February of this year, more than 9 months ago, is not great customer service. On the other hand, I love this user-and-support combination forum. It is very useful and a great asset.

Hi Jonathan,
I understand about wanting more communication from me, and I have been pretty quiet since the last update. We don't normally post anything but release information on the blog, and OS version support seems more appropriate to these forums, especially if it is specifically for a version of macOS. If we do post about it publicly elsewhere it would probably be on social media, but I'm not great at that either.
For future macOS updates, I would just assume that there isn't any compatibility problems unless you hear otherwise (or encounter issues when running the beta yourself). I am nearly always running the latest developer betas within a week of when they are available, and can't remember any that have had problems by the time it got to public/stable release day.
In the meantime, I'll try to communicate better!
Thanks,
Sean

Thanks Shaun. I appreciate the message. And I do appreciate having a steadily improving product that isn’t overly fancy but works well.
