Merging duplicate categories
I have a question and a request
1) How can I merge transactions that are posted into multiple categories that are duplicates? e.g. they have the same category and sub-category!
2) Request: can you implement an edit the prevents duplicate categories and directs user to use the existing catogeory?

I'm a fellow customer.
There are a couple of ways of doing this. This is probably the safest.
1. Rename the category and sub-category that is to be removed, probably the one with the fewest entries.
2. Use the Find and Replace extension to change the category these transactions are in to the category that will be kept.
3. Remove the category and sub-category when they are empty.
