You can't.. But you can use Toolbox extension, update mode, advanced menu, shrink dataset (1 days option)...

Hi Rob,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.
You could try to decrease your data set size (without altering your actual data) - as Stuart suggested earlier.
To achieve this, you should navigate to Extensions->Manage Extensions and install the Toolbox (version 1068).
Launch the Toolbox and select Updated mode (at the top).
Click on MENU: Advance Options and choose: Shrink Dataset size. Set it to 1 day.
You should then carefully follow the on-screen instruction, allowing the disclaimer and restarting Moneydance once the process is complete.
Alternatively, if you wish to "clone" the file structure and start a new data file with your current data, you could proceed as follow:
Launch the Toolbox and choose Update mode
Click the MENU: Advanced Options and choose Clone Dataset's structure.
It clones the dataset, keeps the structures, and clears any previous data. It’s safe to use as it creates a new dataset, while our original data set stays intact.
Please keep us posted on your progress, Thank you!
