Selecting Custom Range Of Registers/Transactions
Hello,
I have two questions.
1/
I cannot find a filter anywhere to select a custom range of registers/transactions. So for example,
all between, 15/01/2023 and 17/04/2023
Is this is possible, please provide clear instructions, ideally with screen shots.
Online AI search mentions using, "Filter icon, (funnel, top right of register) or View > Filter" Neither of these are visible.
In case of any relevance:
- I downloaded a trial version from your website last weekend, which I am trialling - "Check For Updates" from within Moneydance, leads to the following confirmation, "Congratulations, you have the latest version of Moneydance!
2/
Does an instruction manual exist, and/or can you provide link(s) to general online instruction resources,
that would help new users navigate and get the most out of Moneydance?

For further clarification to my question 1/
I would like to select a specific date range that I want visible in my register. So all other dates, before and after are not visible.
I think my question 2/ is unambiguous.

Hi,
Thank you for contacting Moneydance support.
The Custom Filter is probably the best option for the functionality you described.
When you select this filter in your register, this will open a new window where you can specify either the 'Last X Days' or 'Since Date'.
You can highlight the option you'd like, specify the days or date range and select OK.
