Did you use the automatic updater extension or did you download
the file from the website?

What OS are you using?

I just upgraded to 640 and did not experience the problem you
are describing. Please try downloading and installing again to see
if the problem is resolved. If not I recommend making a backup of
your .md data file and completely reinstalling Moneydance.

Sincerely

always was
notified for a new version when starting MD. This time I was
not
notified and downloading from the preview site made me download
the
old version. This time starting up MD resulted in the notifier and
it
works OK. Was I too early with the download? Thanks for your help,

I am not sure what happened here. I suppose it is possible that
the notification system was updated before the latest file was
uploaded on our end. Or perhaps you downloaded from a cash that was
out of date. I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Sincerely
