Hi Shaye
At the bottom of the "Open Recent" list is the option "Clear Menu". If you select this the entire "Open Recent" list will be cleared. If you then Open the two files you are interested in, using File->Open,,, those will be the only files presented in the "Open Recent" list.
Sincerely

I have two files for the same bank account. I want to delete one of them. How can I do that?

Brenda,
Do you know the name of the file you wish to delete? You can search for all the .md files on your computer and choose the appropriate one from the search to delete.
