downloading bank transactions
I'm trying out Moneydance for the first time, and have two questions. Is there a way for moneydance to save the password when downloading transactions, or must you input it every time?
also, when downloading bank transactions, is there a way to
accept all transactions at once, or must you press record for
each one?

Hi Jhalev
If you encrypt you data fileMoneydance provides the option to sotre your online passwords in the file. To encrypt you file select Encryption... from the file menu. Check the box that says "Encrypt Data File" select the encryption algorithm, enter a password and check the box that says "Store Online passwords in File".
Currently you have to accept each transaction as it come in however in the next release of Moneydance which will be out before the end of 2009 and will be a free upgrade to users who bought Md2008, has the functionality todownoad all transactions for all accounts in a single pass without the need to manually record each transaction.
Sincerely

Thanks, and thanks for the info about the free upgrade, since
otherwise I would have waited to purchase.
