Different Dates for Transfers

When entering a transfer between accounts, say from Current to Savings, the date for the transaction is the same in both accounts. But in the real world this takes 2 or 3 days, so I would like (for example) a later date for the Savings side of the transaction. Can MD do this ? Thanks, Gerald (Bedford, UK)

    Hi Gerald

I am afraid it is not possible to force Moneydance to have different dates on either side of a transaction. You either need to choose one of the dates or use a temporary "suspense" account.

just wanted to add that it is possible for a transaction to have a "transaction" and a "tax" date ... that may be sufficient for your purpose
