Hi , I've been trying to alter the space allocated to Description, Category etc on screen in the new version of Moneydance, without success. This process used to be easy with my Windows 7 machine, but unable to see how this is achieved on my Acer machine.
Can you help please?

    Hi Rodney,

If I understand you correctly, you are looking to resize the column width(s) in the register.

To do so, hover your mouse cursor over the column dividing line in the header row of the register. (your cursor will not turn into the familiar double-facing arrow cursor)
However, you can still drag the dividing line(s)

    Thanks Kevin !

I've wasted far too much time trying to get this aspect altered, but your
    advice quickly does the trick!!
I wish they'd retained the old double-acing arrow though.....

    Thanks again,
    Rodney

    Hi Rodney,

You're welcome. I'm glad to hear that you were able to get the columns adjusted.

Thank you for reporting back with your results.

I don't know if there was a concerted effort to lose the double-facing arrow cursor or if it is a bug.

It is also possible the loss of the double arrow is due to Java
