I downloaded your program to try for free, and I'm having a problem. I created an account for my checking account and after entering and deleting a few entries, the first transaction balance does not match the first transaction amount. I am unable to see the transactions that are affecting my Balance. I have attached a screen shot.

    I'm a fellow user.

It looks like you also have an initial balance set.

Highlight the account in the side bar. Select the menu item Account--> Edit Account

There is an Initial Balance field on the resultant screen, looks like it has a value of 37.18 in it.

In Moneydance for the opening balance you generally do an Opening balance transaction or set the initial balance field but not both.

Thanks. That was the problem. I didn't realize the Initial Balance would
not show up on the account spreadsheet. One more question, if you have
the time: Can the account spreadsheet be formatted to have only one row
for each transaction instead of two?
    Thanks,

    Hi Philip,

    https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/kb/register-and-transactions/con...
Right-click (CTRL-click for Macs) any transaction in the register.
From the resulting context menu, select 'Single Line Mode'.
