I am starting to lose faith in it as I know it is no longer supported. Thus, I am seriously investigating Moneydance. I have always wanted the following feature in my accounting software and am wondering if Moneydance has it as a feature.

I would like to set up bills (both one time and recurring) in Moneydance. I would then like to have 'audible' alarm tones and/or notifications appear on my android phone. It is getting very cumbersome to remember bills and payment dates. I am trying to avoid the chore (simplistic as it may be) of logging into Moneydance once or many times daily to access reminders. Audible alarms on my Android phone would provide great ways to immediately pay attention to a bill. Also a great help when away from home and the desktop not being available. Even some sort of a coordination with Google calendar is an option to consider.

I still plan on downloading and trying the Windows version of Md, but, wanted to ask this up front anyway.

Thanks for your time.

Deantag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/480276392020-01-24T04:28:33Z2020-01-24T04:28:33ZAlarms

Hello,

The mobile app does not currently have this ability. The only way to access reminders is by using the desktop program. The desktop program will however list the upcoming reminders in the upper right corner of your Summary page by default, so as long as you are looking in that area when you launch the program, you can see what's coming up over the next several days that you need to take care of.
