I used to use Quicken, I switched to Money Dance due to issues with crashes and data loss with Quicken. I like Moneydance but miss one feature of quicken that I cant seem to find in Moneydance, or am not sure how to do it. Wondering if there is a way on the calander view under reminders if I can get it to show account balance projected through out a month.
With quicken I used to be able to pull up the calendar and see the balance of my account showing daily and could see when balances were getting low.
In this crazy times and with the loss of my job due to COVID I would really like a feature like this. Is there anyway to do that in Moneydance.
Thanks and have a great day

    Hi Mark,

Take a look at the Money Foresight extension.
(Moneydance menu bar > Extensions > Manage Extensions > Money Foresight)

It provides a graphical as well as a table view of future balances based on Reminders.
The graphical view can be placed on the Moneydance summary page.

There are also many other features; one of which are user-defined, custom markers. I created one at the $1500 mark in my checking account so that I can see when I will be approaching that limit.

The free version forecasts out to 1 month. The paid-for version unlocks that limitation.
