CHECK REGISTER ISSUES

2 ISSUES #-1:I TRANSFERRED MONEIES FROM 1 CHECKING ACCOUNT TO ANOTHER. HAVE DONE PREVIOUSLY WITHOUT PROBLEM. THIS TIME THE COLUMS WENT CRAZY & THE DEPOSIT WAS 'DEDUCTED' AND NOT ADDED TO ACCOUNT BALANCE.

# -2 NOW I WANT TO TRANSFER THIS DEPOSIT TO ANOTHER ACCOUNT & I CANNOT.I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY AS I HAVE DONE THIS BEFORE WITHOUT DIFFICULTY.

I ENCOUNTERED SOME DIFFICULTY WITH MNEYDANCE ABOUT 2 WEEKS AGO & THOUGHT EVERYTHING WAS OK. PLEASE EXCUSE MY 'ALL CAPS' BUT I CAN'T READ THIS STUFF WITHOUT THE LARGE LETTERS

    If that's what you're doing, can you explain in any more detail what you mean when you wrote that the columns "went crazy?" If it's easier, you could send a screenshot of what you are seeing. If you're not sure how to take a screenshot, please see http://www.take-a-screenshot.org/

    Sorry to take so long to respond. I had waited quite some time & then we had to have dinner.

    When I initially made the entry of the DEPOSIT in my checking account & keyed ENTER, ALL THE TOTAL figures in the TOTAL column changed and became NEGATIVE amounts………back to my prior RECONCILATION point. I deleted the entry an tried again……….it did the same thing, Then I tried to transfer the amount to a Savings account which wouldn’t work . The numbers are still showing NEGATIVE, I don’t know what to do

    I apologize for the confusion. This is a web forum, not instant chat. You should expect the conversation to be more at an email pace.

    How you send the screenshot depends on your operating system and how you took it. The instructions page I sent should have explained where the screenshot was saved. You can then either post it at the same place where you started this thread (https://infinitekind.tenderapp.com/discussions/general-questions/97495), or attach it to your email reply. If you let me know what operating system you are using, I may be able to guess where the screenshot is, but those instructions should tell you.

    Also, just to make sure you're aware, you can hold down CTRL and press the plus key on most web browsers to increase the text size of any webpage you are on. This may allow you to see small text better, and reduce the need for you to write in all caps.

    Also the screenshot was saved to my desktop. I finally found a way to mail it.
