how to do a year over year change without having to do a previous year save and then erase to reset all categories to zero sum.
Yet saving all catagories.

ie.. "any" catagory totals from 2019. reset to start new year 2020 without erasing 2019 . ??

    Hi michael zelkowski,

If I understand you correctly, try the Income and Expenses report.

Set the Start Date parameter to 01/01/2019.
Set the End Date parameter to 12/31/2020.
Set the 'Group By' parameter to 'Group By Year'.

    I'm a fellow user.

Just to build on what Kevin has said you do not try to reset or remove any data, rather when you want to examine or sample the information you use a report to isolate the data that you are interested in.

When you want to look at Category information then the two Income and Expense reports are the way to do it.
