New credit card account from Bank America acting strangely

I created a new credit card account in MD for my BoA credit card. When I download the transactions (web connect for Quicken), it puts them in the payment column. If I ignore this and try to pay the card, it adds to the account I am paying it out of. What is the fix for this?

Thanks.

Tried Quicken QFX 4-bit and it worked. I use Web connect for all my other cards.

    Hello,

That sounds like a misformatted file. I'm glad to hear that you found a format that works.

We added an option in the latest version to try to handle a common way banks are misformating files:

Go to Preferences and click on the Network tab. Either tick or un-tick the option to 'Ignore Transaction Types in Favor of Amount Signs'

Thanks for the quick response. I will try this and see if it helps.
