There are at least five way adding historical security price data.
Three are covered in the 2015 user guide starting at page 54,
download link “http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/user-guides/moneydance-2015-user-gu...
The ‘Quite and Exchange Rate’ extension looks the best,
but other than exchange rates I don’t us it. Yahoo is the
financial data site it uses and it does not cover all my
securities.
I also use two other extensions ‘Security price entry’
and ‘Security price loader’. The ‘Security price
loader’ is a free down load from a third party https://bitbucket.org/mikerb/moneydance-2015/wiki/Extensions
This has a good user guide on their site. Its .mxt file must be
downloaded from there site and installed via EXTENSIONS –
EXTENSION MANAGER – ADD FROM FILE in moneydance. Don’t
worry about the warning message you will get.

Which one you use depends on what works best for you.

derekkent23tag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/410828072016-10-28T10:14:35Z2016-10-28T10:14:35ZEntering historic share prices

FWIW you can also import share prices from a CSV file if you
have access to a service that can provide a suitable file.

This capability is accessed from the Currency/Security History
window for a security. Tools --> Securities and double click on
the security is one way to access this window.

dwgtag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/410828072016-10-28T12:12:35Z2019-02-15T12:12:45ZEntering historic share prices

Many thanks.

mgtharristag:infinitekind.tenderapp.com,2009-01-14:Comment/410828072016-10-28T12:13:24Z2019-02-15T12:12:45ZEntering historic share prices

Thank you too.

mgtharris
