SellXfr question

Whenever I use SellXfr/Shrsout, the Shares/price cell has the number of shares and a price near $1.00. The Amount of the transaction is the number of shares.

The manual says that the Shares price cell should contain the number of shares and the price at which they were sold (if applicable). The amount will be the product of the two numbers Something is very strange about this. I cannot enter the price at which the shares were sold. The price always reverts to near $1.

Any idea what is happening here?
Thanks.

    Hi jspitzer,

Have you tried entering the number of shares and the total amount?

I generally let MD calculate the Price per share. I enter the number of shares and the total Amount of the txn and let MD figure out the Price.

To me, the Price per share is not as important as the number of shares and the total amount of the txn.
