I am not support staff, just a user.

To add an investment take a look at http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/moneydance-2017/moneydance-2017-inv...
For more general information see http://help.infinitekind.com/kb

    Hope this helps.

I'm trying to enter a transaction in an investment account. For some reason, I cannot change the Action, it always reverts back to Xfr?

    Any idea?

And I just noticed that this behavior doesn't happen for all accounts. An Account that was converted in my base currency (Canada) works. The one that I manually created to track US investments does not.

I do have some funds in the new account.

Do you have securities added to that account. If no securities have been added to the account then the only action possible is xfer.

Here is the FAQ for that: http://help.infinitekind.com/kb/investments/how-do-i-add-securities...

You can download the user guide and peruse the FAQ's from here: http://help.infinitekind.com/kb
